by Sweetzel Dyne Morales , II- Narra

date posted: 2009-07-02

PC Hardware Servicing is one of the specializations in the Technical Vocational Education, which is part of the ICT enabled curriculum being offered to the Second Year students in Lupon Vocational High School.

This school year, 40 students who enrolled in this field are undergoing training on how to do Personal Computer repairs. Students are being introduced to different means of PC repair works and were given actual demonstrations on the proper handling of tools.

Students are given ample training as they are provided with enough theoretical materials and visual aids such as video clips about the course. Students are also taught to practice extra care especially on how to handle hand tools and the computer unit and its system components. Students are encouraged full participation in the actual practice, both individually and by groups.

Our teacher is quite positive that the students will be able to get the maximum learning benefit in the teaching method being used.

The goal of this course is to prepare the students for entry-level as computer technician positions within various environments and is intended for students pursuing careers in IT and want practical knowledge of how computer works.
